Mari Kvien Brunvoll - Everywhere You Go (Villalobos Celestial Voice Resurrection Mix)

A fairly standard Villalobos squidgy minimal 28 minute track with a hauntingly beautiful vocal used brilliantly, ever so faintly at first but it becomes the soulful centrepiece.

Magical.

Deep, dubby and hypnotic, underground and understated groove.  I cannot get enough of the music tINI produces and plays.

Butric - Up

This is absolute genius.  Brilliant.  I am not going to give the game away with a description, you just have to listen to it.  Definitely going to be my secret weapon when DJing, albeit not so secret as I cannot help but share.

Nina Kraviz – Desire

Soft-feeling techno that slowly hypnotises, with the unique Nina-noises and a beautiful 12 minutes long.  A return to form.

Poni Hoax – Hypercommunication (Alter Ego Remix)

What a classic mid-2000’s electro tune.  Delighted to have rediscovered it.  Surely cannot be more than a year or two before electro becomes cool again?  Maybe 3 years away.  I miss the power and performance of such monstrous delights.

Matt John – The Blue Storm

OK this is a bit mental with a ton of weird sounds but still groovy – it reminds me of a calmer version of Subtellite.

Truss – Beacon

Dirty filthy fat slab of manure-eating porky techno.

Analog Solutions – My Own Transition

Dreamy trippy techno which reminds me of riding a goat through the milky way.

Mr G – Contrast

I saw Mr G at fabric a few weeks back – he was very good but this is better than anything I heard him perform, a powerful techno beast of storm-force qualities.

Etapp Kyle – Drama

Nina-style techno that I would have no chance of discovering on my own.

Just a load of high pitched bleeps.

Phreek Plus One – La Spirale

I challenge you not to feel uplifted and start wiggling your bum with this groovy little number.

Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer – Mas Profundo Que Mis Pies

This is mental, on another planet kind of minimal with all the odd sounds, the stripped back beats and assumed-Spanish language adding to the confused brilliance.  Don’t try to understand.

Desos - Mathias

This is proper deep house, a slow but chunky beat, a chink of a repeated vocal stab and a warm glowing feel - perfect first track for a night.

Enzo Siragusa & Liefko - In My Head

I heard this track about a year ago and fell in love, especially with the story told over the fittingly emotive moody underground beats.

Enzo Siragusa can do no wrong in my book.
