Creep - Days (Soul Clap Remix)

This is lovely, quite creepy, very low-slung bassy slow house with vocals from the singer from The XX who I am told are a cool band, not that it would mean anything to me, but it might to you.

Jeff Mills — Jingle The Bells

Just for a bit of festive cheer - this is what happens when Christmas meets The Bells by Jeff Mills.

Slam - Hot Knives (Slam Remix)

This is a really good remix of a fantastic techno tune from a couple of year ago – this however builds up and builds up but never kicks off like the original.  The original is even better, but I do love this mix too.

ANBB - I Wish I Was A Mole In The Ground (Extended)

I don’t think I have ever heard anything like this.  Very minimal, with some guy singing “I wish I Was A Mole In The Ground” amongst other random things, and then seems to get angry towards the end.

Jichael Mackson - A Snake In Da System

Most people won’t like this.  It is very minimal, with plenty of strange clicks and really very understated.  It is rather  inventive and charming to me and the best cold minimal track I’ve heard in a while.  But if you don’t like cold, clicky minimal – don’t waste your time.

Radio Slave - I Don't Need A Cure For This

Typically deep, hypnotic minimal from a producer of a hell of a lot of good music over the years.

Simon Wish, Cruz & Lati - Dawn's Highway

Ooh this is hot, it is fairly slow, very dark and bass-driven, with snippets of male vocals, and is just so good.  Possibly the slowest thing released by Cocoon.

Wednesday, 8 December 2010

Oscar – Africanism

This is good fun, a remix of Toto – Africa, a very recognisable early 80’s tune.  Would get a good reaction on a dancefloor, somewhere between minimal and house.

Ambivalent - Down

A nice, dark, quite sinister piece of minimal.  Am quite a fan of their work, previous track called R U OK? was just absolute depreaved minimal filth.

Daniel Mehlhart - Fistbump (Franco Cinelli Remix)

It is quite a basic house track, nothing amazing, just a good solid house track

Clio - For Sure Baby

It goes “doo, doo, doo, doo-do” with other random bits of talking and a fairly minimal beat, heard Loco Dice play this.

No Regular Play - Doesn't Matter

Quite dark, slow and groovy baby – another piece of class music on Wolf & Lamb.

Monday, 6 December 2010

Audio Injection - Operation A (Speedy J remix)

A rather eerie but deep techno bomb.

Nina Kraviz - I'm Week

I really like her stuff, this is rather floaty and deep, with plenty of vocals snippets and just sounds really quite lovely.  Not for a dancefloor though.

Livio & Roby – Garaghivirap

A simple minimal beat with some faint jingles, it definitely does it for me.  Only 7 minutes long though – should be twice as long.  But life is far from perfect.

Brothers´ Vibe – Revolution

A very danceable groovy house tune, perhaps a little too summery for early winter!

Ruede Hagelstein – Emergency

Groovy, underground vocal house tune.

Thursday, 2 December 2010

40 Thieves feat Qzen - Don't Turn It Off

This has a really good disco feel to it – shame it is only 4 or so minutes long but well worth a listen or three.

Dennis Ferrer - Red Room

This guy has with great regularity produced great house music for many a year – seems to have imbraced a slightly more techy feel to this track, or perhaps slightly electro and just feels really good and lively.

Oracy - Bass Mood

This is a good bassy piece of tech-house, a nice 10 minutes long and rolls along very nicely.  Perfect for grotty clubs.

Masomenos – Coco

This I think would bore the hell out of most people.  But for those with a bit of patience, joy will befall you, in a minimal way, eventually.

Steller – Terrence

It’s house.  And it’s funky.  Oh shit, funky house must be back.  It does feel good though.

Wednesday, 1 December 2010

Dubfire – Rejekt

Ooh this is a bit dark and moody.  Rather sinister in fact.  I do like this.

Boo Williams - Mortal Trance

This ticks quite a few boxes for being purposeful but slow, house with melody and beats and squishes and floaty synths.  Quite simple but it works.  Don't be scared by the "trance" word!

Lee Foss - U Got Me

Hmm, this is fabulous by one of my favourite new artists of 2010, very warm, quite slow, with vocals (how predictably fabulous!).  Beautiful and summery.  Shame it is freezing outside right now.

Pupkulies & Rebecca - Burning Boats (Masomenos Remix)

Really nice relaxing minimal.

Tuesday, 30 November 2010

Deniz Kurtel - Yeah (Jamie Jones Shower Aquafunk Mix)

This is just groovy as hell house music with plenty of vocals - and the man of the year on the remix.

Loco Dice - La Bicicletta

A rather groovy but fairly minimal track from one of the stars of the year, my ex-hip hop DJ himself, Loco Dice.

Pablo Cahn - Speyer Elle

A really good house track with bits of vocals that seems to say ‘minimal’ repeatedly.

Loko - Scarlet House

This is a really nice, simple, house track with a touch of vocal and a little piano.  Quite gentle and smooth but yet still very danceable.

Johnny D – Leave Or Love Me

I cannot believe that I haven't listed this yet.

I absolutely love this tune, loads of ridiculously silly noises, crazy drumming and complete randomness, perfect for Mr Villalobos and it was indeed him who introduced me.  Such a great vibe to it.  Somewhere in between minimal and house.

Monday, 29 November 2010

Arado & Den Ishu - R U W M

Such a good house feeling to this track, you may recognise it from the vocals of "Are You With Me"

Friday, 26 November 2010

Blehorkestar Bakija Bakic - Fizheuer Zieheuer (Todd Terje Edit)

Someone has updated the amazing Fizheuer Zieheuer by Ricardo Villalobos, the 37-minute long minimal track which I fell in love with many years ago.  It is quite magnificent.  I cannot really describe it.  I do wish I had first heard it played by Ricardo though, rather than finding it on Youtube.

Though actually I think Ricardo sampled this track first.

Either way, a little piece of genius.

Leland McWilliams - Mama Lola (Johnny D Remix)

Lots of strange noises.  12 minutes long.  Minimal.  Just like my sex life.

Nico - Dying Of Fever

Ooh this is nice, very floaty kind of tech-house, yes with vocals again!

Benoit & Sergio - Walk & Talk

"My baby does k all day... she doesn't wash her hair, doesn't wash her clothes, just sits on the couch watching television shows"

Lyrics that make sense at last!  Behold!

Pointed out to me by my very good friend, Carrie, not my own discovery for a change.

It is just very laid back, minimal and quite damn hot.  Making minimal sexy!

Thursday, 25 November 2010

Kabale und Liebe - Since You Looked Into My Eyes

I absolutely love this, really good house track, with vocals and recognisable ones from many a year back, oh a few enchanting plinks and plonks.  Think I might have heard it for the first time at Ketoloco, a few moons ago.  Must listen.  Must dance.

Basti Grub & Komaton – Sick

Ooh this is quite nice, mellow and melodic, can almost hear someone from Cocoon finishing with this.  Lovely.

Santos - Primitive Cannible

Slightly crazy minimal track clearly made for something like the Zoo Project with all its crazy circus sounds and plinks and plonks and a good 11 minutes long, happy days.

Arado & Den Ishu - Preacher Man

To me this is just like the perfect DC10 kind of track, reminds me of when minimal was so perfect, though this is slightly more house than minimal.  It just is really damn good.

Art Department feat. Seth Troxler — Vampire Nightclub

This is really dark and spooky, quite Dracula-like, nice and slow.

Wednesday, 24 November 2010

Oracy - Bass Mood

Brothel minimal.

Paul C, Paolo Martini - Plug Me (Johnny D. Remix)

I love this for the Johnny D beats as I love pretty much everything he does, very bouncy and minimal but I am not convinced by the occasional bouts of rapping going “fuck all of ya” – maybe it might grow on me, but maybe I need a dub version of it!

Butch - No Worries

Ubiquitous house track that just does it quite simply and makes me want to dance and dance and dance.

Traversable Wormhole - Closed Timelike Curve (Marcel Dettmann Remix)

Nasty evil techno to pound you into submission and make you stomp until you can cope no more.  Or until 6 minutes 18 seconds is up.

Steve Bug – Loverboy

Ooh this is a bit good, quite emotive minimal.  I discovered Steve Bug at my first Cocoon trip in Ibiza in 2004.  I really wasn’t sure why I liked all this music which was very under-stated and didn’t do a lot, yet was exceptionally enjoyable.  I later discovered, that I had discovered minimal, and a whole new level of enjoyment and excitement of music began, thanks initially to Steve Bug.

Monday, 15 November 2010

Lucien N Luciano - Behind My Soul

This is very minimal, very much just setting some atmosphere – perfect first track for a mix, or for a club night, really sets things off in a moody way.  Very good.

Basti Grub & Komaton – Sick

Oh this is really quite gentle, floaty and nice and I could listen to this for quite a long time – and it is on Cocoon – what are you doing to me Cocoon?

Maetrik - Herb House

Part warm deep house, nothing too exciting at all, just gentle dreamy music for desks or beds, but also with a slight minimal 6am dancing twist to it too.

Soul Center - Dyr Bul Scyl

Rave song number 2 for the blog, very German and first heard from Sven at Cocoon In The Park, not sure I want all music to be like this but it is different and good.

Grub & Aldo Cadiz – Eleccion

Giggity-house music.  I’m clearly running out of inspiration now.  Just listen and be done with it.

Monday, 8 November 2010

Brian Sanhaji – Higgs

Evil techno.  I say nothing more.

James T. Cotton - On Time

This just has a really good old house feeling to it, simple sounding beats.  And only 154 people on Youtube have listened to it so it is like our secret, ok?

Lee Foss - Run Around

Another really good vocal house track with a kick-ass bass-line (did I really just use that phrase?)

Robert James - Sleep Moods

Oh this is excellent, first heard it on a Jamie Jones mix, so as you may imagine it is slightly disco-fuelled but solid house track, with light and dark.

Robert Hood – Omega

Minimal.  Just minimal.  But really excellent minimal.  Simple.  Effective.  Minimal.

Thursday, 21 October 2010

Black Van – Yearning

Beautiful piece of disco-house, could almost bring a tear of joy to one’s eye.

Bibio - Lovers Carvings (Catz n Dogz re edit)

Most Catz n Dogz stuff I have heard is generic shit, but this is really quite charming and floaty and nice.  Surprised.

Superpitcher - Rabbits In A Hurry

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elAwU0gKzvgGuitar-disco in a twisted minimal way.  Different, but good.  More of a 8am tune.

Chris Carrier - Cabaret Des Belles Lettres

This is a good solid house track, with bits of vocals of course (so 2010!).  It could be better though.  I demand a remix.

Wednesday, 20 October 2010

Smirk - You Will Find

Sorry, no Youtube link for this one.

But it is worth trying to find in my opinion, as long as you like slow sketched out minimal dark house music with a low rumbling bass.  It is on Wolf & Lamb if that helps to encourage you!

Tuesday, 19 October 2010

Kink – Rachel

I wasn’t expecting this after such a slow start but it comes on strong and techy, but a little quieter after the breakdown.  And it does have a bit of an old skool feel to the beats.

Claro Intelecto - Back In The Day

I’ve never liked any of Claro Intelecto’s stuff.  Always been too dull techno for me.  But this is a remix of a very old tune and done really well, kind of like jacking house but with a darker, moodier techno twist.  Not for everyone.

Cobblestone Jazz – Chance

I had to put this in if only because it sounds like a remix of Sesame Street made for anywhere in your local red light district.  And I think they are singing about cats.

Soul Clap – Extravaganza

Why am I liking vocal house at the moment?  This is quite slow, very musical, not for anyone into electro-house!  It can best be described perhaps as lovely and beautiful.   I am getting so soft.  Just you wait for the backlash next year when I get into something much harder or faster!

Jamie Jones – Ruckus

Oh my Jamie Jones-like god, he does it again.  I did hear this a few months back but typically it took me a while to work out.  Sensational disco-sounding house.  And then it gets a bit dirty.  Jamie’s magic dust applied again.  Love it.

Monday, 11 October 2010

Marc Houle – On It

Some Marc Houle stuff is irritating, this is an absolute beast.  It’s minimal but with personality and a groove and lots of strange noises.

Should be seeing him at the Warehouse Project in Manchester this Friday all being well.

Robert Hood – Alpha

Proper banging techno, well for my standards anyway.  Quite nasty.

Slam - Collecting Data

Minimal.  It doesn’t do much.  I like it.  You might not.

Butch - Life (Edu and Coyu Remix)

Ooh this is quite funky, could almost play it in Revolution bars!

Thursday, 7 October 2010

Luna City Express - Mr. Jack (Robags Edna Mompf Remix)

I just love this song, jacking house at it’s very best, I would love to be dancing to this right now.

Luna City Express - Diamonds And Pearls (Mathias Kaden's Smaragd Remix)

Ooh this is a lovely piece of minimal, it just sounds really pleasant and relaxing.

Sadly not on Youtube at the moment :-(

DJ Sprinkles - Masturjakor (Kink & Neville Watson Remix)

A little light and floaty at first, but a tremendous dirty bassline to kick it into life, lovely.

Art Department - Without You

I cannot believe that I have not posted this.  This is without doubt the tune of the year and I knew it was when I first heard it on a Jamie Jones mix.  So dark, so creepy, fantastic vocals, amazing bassline, it just ticks every single box and I could listen to this over and over.  Cannot recommend enough.

Lee Foss - U Got Me

Oh this is more like it, I have been listening to so many crap tunes the last couple of days, this is lovely, mellow and just really too nice for me.  Happy days.

Tuesday, 5 October 2010

Markus Fix – Dark Side Of Bo

Such a Cocoon tune, it is very understated techno, which you want to grab hold of and take you into another techno stratosphere, but it teases and teases.  Oh it is good, so good.

Full track not on Youtube at the moment - there is a snippet of Sven playing it at Time Warp for the first 4 minutes of this video.

Johnny D & Butch – Blues Shoes (Johnny D Mix)

Johnny D is a bit of a genius.  This is more like shakey-shakey house music, with lots of bizarre bits and some great drops, and just bumbles along brilliantly, I have admired his work for a long time, and he just keeps getting better.  Eritrea’s musical genious.

Robert Dietz - Soup Opera

I love this house tune, far more of a groove than I have this dull and cloudy morning.

Monday, 4 October 2010

Chris Liebing & Tommy Four Seven – Bauhaus (Mallet Mix)

It takes a while to get going but this is like smash your face in techno, a real pounding that the Techno Viking would approve of I am sure.  Makes me want to work on a construction site.

Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann – Fuego

Lots of drums and lots of techno sounds, a return to form.

Kabale Und Liebe - Since You Looked Into My Eyes

Ridiculously good house music track which is just what the doctor ordered on a dull Monday morning which an overwhelming sense of Monday doom.  Until now that is.  Makes me want to dance even on a Monday morning.  Well, tap my feet anyway.

Thursday, 30 September 2010

Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts and dOP – Discotheque

Oh this is so gentle and musical, floating away in a basket of minimal musical love.  Oh this is as my friend Zoe would say, “lush” in a Welsh accent, you need to soak up the instruments.

Delano Smith – A Message For The DJ

I’m not totally convinced that enough has been done with this track, it is crying out for a remix to give it a bit more oomph.  Which is ironic as it is in your face asking for it on the vocals.  But it definitely has something.  Anyone care to remix it for me?

Way Out West – Ultraviolet (Guy J Mix)

Well this little number doesn’t really start off as anything, I was thinking maybe early Eric Prydz but then a disco thing happens, and it floats along quite-trance like, in a progressive way to a very satisfactory conclusion.

Wednesday, 29 September 2010

The Gathering – In My System (Jef K Remix)

I first heard Ricardo Villalobos play this at fabric in March (how often do I say this?!) – I liked it a lot on first listen but message boards went crazy about this, and after a few listens I fell in love.  Deep, soulful and vocal-led, beautiful house music – really does something for me, hot hot house music.

Ryan Davis – Zodiac

This is a nice Border Community – style electronic track – think James Holden.  Not heard anything from that label in a long while, have they died a death?

Azari & III – Hungry For The Power

This sounds ridiculously old, like 80’s house and it sounds so good in a 2010 style.

Hey Karolin – Sleeping, Dancing, Laughing

Ooh this does something for me in a way that very few minimal tracks do nowadays, definitely a beginning of the night track, bits of vocals and lots of strange twisted sounds.

Tiefschwarz – Find Me

This is a really rather deep and minimal vocal house track, definitely has a soul to it – and Tiefschwarz are fabulous – every year for years they have done something great and yet they keep managing to keep it different every year.

Clement Meyer – A Bucket Of Blood

One assumes this is what a bucket of blood sounds like inside.  Dark, brooding and techy.  I like.

MRS – Shaun

I have a very close and delightful friend called Shaun so approached listening to a track, clearly named after him, with great trepidation.  I am delighted to report that it is an excellent warbling minimal number.

Electric Jones - Nasty's Party (Jamie Jones Edit)

Jamie Jones really does know how to bring the funk back to the dancefloor – possibly the DJ that I haven’t seen that I most want to see.  Fantastic stomping house music.

Monday, 27 September 2010

Terence Fixmer - Electric City (Function Remix)

This won’t be most people’s cup of tea I suspect, a dark and moody piece of minimal.

The Revenge – Forever In Their Debt (The Revenge’s Pitched Down Mix)

Never heard of The Revenge, sounds like a band?  This is slowed-down Chicago house to me, and I am liking anything a bit slow at the moment.

Ben Klock – Red Alert

Not normally a fan of Ben Klock, but this is a rather excellent stomping dark techno track, perfect for a little bit of Monday anger!

Joris Voorn – The Secret

Joris makes some amazing stuff sometimes, but equally some really dull and predictable stuff too.  This falls into the first category, a very upbeat Cocoon-like affair which just sounds fantastic, even for a Monday!  I recommend a listen (as I do to all the tracks here!).

Friday, 24 September 2010

Salvatore Freda - Irpinia (Massimo Di Lena remix)

I have listened to this track three times in a row now, and my feet are merrily dancing away.  I hadn’t actually heard this track before I clicked play (which is unusual for good tunes given how many DJ sets I download and listen to), this seems to be a hidden gem of a jacking house track, lots of excitement going on in it and lots of reasons to get people on the dancefloor, and those on the dancefloor to make some moves, loving this!  And to think just 30 minutes ago I thought today had no significance…oooh!  Yum yum.

M.in - Sing And Blow At The Same Time

This is definitely a party house track, such a good vibe to it.  Was feeling a tad uninspired today until I heard this, oooh will a smile break out on my face soon?  Quite a bit of randomness going on, with bits of instruments, crowd noise and talking too.

Wednesday, 22 September 2010

Muravchix - Replicants Lament

Brilliant bit of new Italo-disco, loving the synth stabs.

Unfortunately no Youtube video on this one, so you will have to do with a sample from Juno.  Or go and seek it yourself.

If anyone finds a link please do let me know.

Lee Jones - Yoyo

This is a stunning piece of minimal, almost orchestral in its beauty, oh and when the kick comes back in, assuming you notice it, oh it is magical.

James Flavour - Whos In The House

I heard Ricardo play this a fair few months back, and I think it is garage.  I mean, look at the name.  Everyone else says it is house, and ok it has a 4-4 beat but so did a lot of 90’s garage prior to two-step which is the garage that most people know.  This is definitely groovy and most danceable.

Soul Clap & Sergio Santos – Michael Went To Heaven

This is just beautiful and floaty and a little bit Michael Jackson – on Wolf & Lamb of course!

Stevie Wonder – All I Do (U-Tern Disco Edit)

A bit of Stevie Wonder?  What is happening to me?  Rather soulful and a bit of disco, it is rather good.  Recommended to me by my good friend Matt Powell a few months back.

Monday, 20 September 2010

Electric Jones – Hot Natured

Oh my, they just get better and better, guess what label it is on?  I promise I will find something on a different label one day soon, but for now enjoy more lovely slow-favoured house music from over the pond.

No Regular Play – Owe Me (Nicolas Jaar Remix)

More Wolf & Lamb love – will I ever tire of this?  I hope you love it too.

Wolf & Lamb – If U Had (Shaun Reeves Edit)

More lovely slow house, yes more vocals too, from the irrepressive Wolf & Lamb.

Jamie Jones & Gadi Mizrahi – Nasty Things

This is house music at its sexiest, I absolutely love this – unsurprisingly it is on the Wolf & Lamb label, and I love everything Jamie Jones does and this is no exception, fully recommended at once!

Wolf & Lamb – Must Be Brooklyn

More slow house, or perhaps slow minimal – slominal?  Shaun, where are you?

Nicolas Jaar – The Student Hairstyle

Slow, of course, just like me on Mondays, but rather dark and minimal too.  Also like me on a Monday.  Just how good is he?  Not like me on a Monday.

Sadly not available on Youtube at the moment :-(  So don't buy it.

Thursday, 16 September 2010

Clickbox – Bad Fish

A disco-minimal style track that I’ve heard Magda play – alas not live

Mendo – Aventuras

Fairly minimal track that Luciano was playing loads last year, only just worked out what it was as I am so-2009, it sounds like it continually says “Richie Neville”, it is rather repetitive but hey I like repetitive music.

The Human League – Together In Electric Dreams (Extended Mix)

OK I am a closest Human League fan.  Although I probably haven’t heard any more of their tunes…or have I?

The Human League – Don’t You Want Me

Ok I admit it, I like the original too.

Wednesday, 15 September 2010

The Human League – Don’t You Want Me (Extended Dance Mix)

Am I allowed to like this?  Of course I am!  It is the version without vocals though which has more appeal, I know what they are on the off-chance I want to sing along.

Zev – This Feeling

I love just about everything on Wolf & Lamb – no in fact I love everything.  A house tune this time, not quite a leisurely as much of their stuff.

Perc – Work Softer (Matador Remix)

A rather dramatic piece of techno.

Tuesday, 14 September 2010

Tim Xavier – No Day Like Thursday

Ah this made it worth getting out of bed this morning, a rather funky little minimal number which warbles about the place.

Welcome To My New Blog

Welcome to my new blog.

The purpose of this is to display all my favourite newly discovered tunes - well not all will be new, I will also post tunes that I discovered a few years ago or many years ago.

Hopefully it will provide you with some entertainment and something to listen to, or maybe even inspire you!

Ron Hardy - Sensation

I heard Ricardo play this at fabric, another one which the crowd went crazy for, despite it being recorded in the mid-1980's.

It is a little odd sounding as it seems to go a bit backwards, certainly not conventional, but definitely great!

MMM - Nous sommes MMM

This one has been doing the rounds, it is featured with a massive rave synth, very unusual for recent years - I first heard Ricardo Villalobos play it at fabric in March, and also heard Steve Lawler and Sven Vath play it, it seems to have quite a wide appeal - and I love it!

Tuesday, 31 August 2010

Dj Tonio & Al Ferox - Bionik

This is a Cocoon classic from when it used to play much tougher techno, I do love it!  I could go crazy to this and hope I get the opportunity one day!

Die Vögel - Blaue Moschee

One of Sven Vath's favourite tunes (in case you don't know me, I am Sven/Cocoon obsessed) - heard him play this at matter on a crazy Sven crowd-surfing night back in April and the place went crazy.

So many people love this.

It's the tune with the trumpets.

Chris Simmonds - I Changed My Mind

Another vocal house tune - what has happened to me this year?

Frivolous - C:\ My Consciousness (Reboot Rebuttal Remix)

This is a really good, almost quite emotive minimal track remixed by one of the producers of 2009 - Reboot, who was excellent when I saw him at matter for Cocoon.

Lumidee - Never Leave You (Luciano Bootleg Mix)

Yeah I know it is from last year (I'll probably at some point list all the tracks I have ever loved when I get around to it so you'll have to forgive a few old ones)...goes to show the minimal/underground house thing can be fun!

Cassius - Youth, Speed, Trouble, Cigarettes (Radio Slave Remix)

Quite a lively and techy tune.  I have so many Radio Slave tunes/remixes in my collection, always been a big fan.

Automat - The Rise The Advance The Genius

I think this is from 1978, sounds way ahead of its time in a kind of dramatic 80's sounding electro-disco.  Almost expect to hear it on Scarface.

Azoto - Any Time Or Place

A bit of classic disco from 1979 - fun music :-)

Ray Mang - Look Into My Eyes

Another top disco tune

Fern Kinney - Love Me Tonight

Glorious beautiful disco track - a full 9 minutes long.  Perfect for the end of the night.

Tensnake - Around The House

Completely different to his other track below, a rather moody minimal track, still very good.

Tensnake - Coma Cat

This has been around a fair few months but I have only recently worked out what it is called - it has such a good feeling to it, very summery with bits of vocals!  Absolutely love this.

Arnaud Le Texier - Ivory Machine

Good piano-based minimal track - maybe it is house?

Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts - The Pussy Shepher

Another deep house track I really like - I must be going soft?

Sadly, the full track is not available on Youtube.

Basti Grub - Negro

Back to housey normality, with an African chanting twist this time.

Sadly not available on Youtube.

Circus Contraption - Drunkard's Dream

OK this is one of my silliest music discoveries ever - but quite catchy in a banjo circus kind of way.

Shimmy Sham Sham 002

This was one of my tunes of the summer but I am yet to hear it anywhere.  Maybe I will have to wait until next year?  Maybe it is just a bit too summery!

Nina Kraviz - I'm Going To Get You

I'm not normally a huge fan of deep house, but this is rather lovely and has a nice vocal too...oooh!

Alan Fitzpatrick - Face Of Rejection

This is lovely tough techno, quite adorable.  Very much the kind of thing that Chris Liebing would play.

Egbert - Vreugdevuur

One of many tracks on Cocoon that I am really liking, though this was released in 2009, I have only just discovered it.

Al Usher - Lullaby For Robert (Prins Thomas Diskomiks)

I love all this space disco kind of stuff by the likes of Prins Thomas - so floaty and dreamy but yet I could still dance to it.

Cabin Fever - The Morning Song

A nice simple 10 minute long house track, rather minimal too.

Sadly only a cut version available on Youtube.

James Ruskin - The Outsider (Luke Slater's ME Remix)

This is much more banging techno than I would usually go for - I used to be a massive Luke Slater fan back in my early 2000's techno love, when I preferred my techno to be about 140bmp!

Sadly not available on Youtube.

Johnny D - Point Of No Return

I have loved many tracks from Johnny D over the years and this is no exception, quite a simple house track

Horatio - Sing With The Swing

Perhaps a little silly, I do like the odd quirky song in with all my 15 minute long minimal tracks
