Creep - Days (Soul Clap Remix)
This is lovely, quite creepy, very low-slung bassy slow house with vocals from the singer from The XX who I am told are a cool band, not that it would mean anything to me, but it might to you.

Slam - Hot Knives (Slam Remix)
This is a really good remix of a fantastic techno tune from a couple of year ago – this however builds up and builds up but never kicks off like the original. The original is even better, but I do love this mix too.

ANBB - I Wish I Was A Mole In The Ground (Extended)
I don’t think I have ever heard anything like this. Very minimal, with some guy singing “I wish I Was A Mole In The Ground” amongst other random things, and then seems to get angry towards the end.

Jichael Mackson - A Snake In Da System
Most people won’t like this. It is very minimal, with plenty of strange clicks and really very understated. It is rather inventive and charming to me and the best cold minimal track I’ve heard in a while. But if you don’t like cold, clicky minimal – don’t waste your time.

Radio Slave - I Don't Need A Cure For This
Typically deep, hypnotic minimal from a producer of a hell of a lot of good music over the years.

Simon Wish, Cruz & Lati - Dawn's Highway
Ooh this is hot, it is fairly slow, very dark and bass-driven, with snippets of male vocals, and is just so good. Possibly the slowest thing released by Cocoon.

Oscar – Africanism
This is good fun, a remix of Toto – Africa , a very recognisable early 80’s tune. Would get a good reaction on a dancefloor, somewhere between minimal and house.

Ambivalent - Down
A nice, dark, quite sinister piece of minimal. Am quite a fan of their work, previous track called R U OK? was just absolute depreaved minimal filth.

Daniel Mehlhart - Fistbump (Franco Cinelli Remix)
It is quite a basic house track, nothing amazing, just a good solid house track

Clio - For Sure Baby
It goes “doo, doo, doo, doo-do” with other random bits of talking and a fairly minimal beat, heard Loco Dice play this.

Nina Kraviz - I'm Week
I really like her stuff, this is rather floaty and deep, with plenty of vocals snippets and just sounds really quite lovely. Not for a dancefloor though.

Livio & Roby – Garaghivirap
A simple minimal beat with some faint jingles, it definitely does it for me. Only 7 minutes long though – should be twice as long. But life is far from perfect.

A very danceable groovy house tune, perhaps a little too summery for early winter!

This has a really good disco feel to it – shame it is only 4 or so minutes long but well worth a listen or three.

Dennis Ferrer - Red Room
This guy has with great regularity produced great house music for many a year – seems to have imbraced a slightly more techy feel to this track, or perhaps slightly electro and just feels really good and lively.

Boo Williams - Mortal Trance
This ticks quite a few boxes for being purposeful but slow, house with melody and beats and squishes and floaty synths. Quite simple but it works. Don't be scared by the "trance" word!

Hmm, this is fabulous by one of my favourite new artists of 2010, very warm, quite slow, with vocals (how predictably fabulous!). Beautiful and summery. Shame it is freezing outside right now.
